Michael Scofield first met Dr. Sara Tancredi when he reached Fox River. At first, the only reason Michael visited the doctor's office was because the infirmary is the main spot of escape and each week he would go there to scope out the escape. Michael charmed his way into Sara's life and at first hoped to get her on his good side only for the plans for escape. Although, as the week's passed by Michael actually fell for the doctor himself.
Veronica and Lincoln, although different people, dated in high school and were together even after high school. Although, as Lincoln's life became a tangled web and Veronica went on to become a lawyer the two were separated. After Lincoln made it into prison for murder Veronica was shocked although since the evidence was there believed him to be guilty as everyone else. Although, as Veronica re-opens Lincolns case she sees many indescrpencies and begins to believe that the evidence is, as Michael said, cooked. As Veronica investigates Lincoln's case the two's romantic past starts to come to surface.
With his girlfriend T-Bag tries to come off as a kind gentleman. Polite to his girlfriend and her two children, it seems that he really does care for this woman. After an America's Most Wanted Ad pops up onto the screen and the girlfriend notices that it is T-Bag on the screen she panics and calls the police. Therefore, this is why T-Bag was caught and put into Fox River. T-Bag vowed that he never touched her children. Clearly shaken, the woman stares on and when T-Bag vows when he gets out he will come and get her she spits at him and runs off.
Fernando is completely obsessed with Maricruz and unfortunately after many mistakes she is the reason he is in prison. Fernando, a rather poor man, robbed a gas station to be able to take Maricruz out to dinner. After Fernando's cousin Hector finds out that he is planning on robbing the same gas station that night so he will be able to buy Maricruz a ring Hector calls the police and before he can flee he is arrested. Maricruz becomes pregnant with Fernando's child while he is in prison, although both excited at the prospect soon Maricruz gets cold feet and wants stability in her life. Maricruz tells Fernando that Hector can offer her that stability and is thinking about marrying him. Fernando is panicked at the prospect and then decides he definitely wants to get out of prison.
Benjamin was stationed in Iraq and was bringing in stolen goods for his colonel, one night when Benjamin notices some prisoners of war being tortured by the Americans he reports what he sees. The colonel angry about this decides to report Benjamin for bringing in stolen goods and therefore he ends up in prison at Fox River. Benjamin's wife and child do not know that he has ended up in prison. His family are anxious for him to be home and when he talks to them daily he wants to get out even more.
